The Portland Winter Farmers' Market continues on Saturdays  through April 21st,
after which the outdoor
Portland Farmers' Market returns.

The 2011-2012 season will take place at the Maine Irish Heritage Center,
on the corner of State and Gray Streets, one block from Mercy Hospital.

Portland Ballet Company

Well known throughout the state as a company of well trained and disciplined dancers, with a repertoire of over 25 ballets, PBC starts its Fall Season with performances in Ogunquit and Portland each year. In December, PBC commemorates historical Portland and the famed Victoria Mansion in its annual performances of "The Victorian Nutcracker". The Spring Season varies, with such events as a performance with Portland Youth Symphony Orchestra, or when a celebrity has joins them on stage for premieres.     portlandballet.org
 

Port Opera

Port Opera began performances in 1995 and continues to present a variety of events throughout the year including one major fully-staged opera at Merrill Auditorium each summer. “La Fille du Régiment” (The Daughter of the Regiment) by Gaetano Donizetti will be their mainstage production at Merrill Auditorium.
