Etta James, whose powerful, versatile and emotionally direct voice
could enliven the raunchiest blues as well as the subtlest love songs,
most indelibly in her signature hit,
“At Last,” died Friday morning in Riverside,
Calif. She was 73.

We're so glad that the Portland Winter's Market continues to thrive.
Filled with healthy goodies, stop by The Irish Heritage Center (State Street) on Saturday mornings through April 21st.

The market features all Maine-grown and produced farm
products, exclusively.

If you find it at the market, it was grown
and produced in Maine,
from vegetables to fresh greens, yogurt, meats, eggs, cheese, grain, flour,
honey, jams, and much more...

Maine Gay Men's Chorus

'I'm sorry to say the chorus is on sabbatical this season and will not be presenting a Holiday concert. We hope to be singing again by next September.." Art Kenne, Artistic Director
September? Guess that means no annual PRIDE Concert in June, too.
We'll miss you guys.
Billy Crystal will return to the Oscar stage in February marking his ninth stint as the show's host.
